Terms and conditions

These terms apply to every order placed on vapevic.com. Placing an order means you have read them and agree to them. They sit alongside the shipping, returns and privacy pages, which form part of these terms.

Who may buy

You must be 18 years of age or older and located in Australia. By ordering you confirm both. Our checks are an age confirmation on entry to the site and the cancellation of any order we believe was placed by or for a minor; if that order has already been paid, we refund it in full. Reselling products bought from VapeVic to minors is prohibited.

Australian law

Vaping products in Australia are regulated at both federal and state level, and the rules differ between states and territories and change over time. VapeVic sells to adults in Australia only. You are responsible for knowing and complying with the laws that apply where you live, including any restrictions on possession and use. We do not ship outside Australia under any circumstances.

Products and descriptions

We sell the devices described on their product pages: brand, model, flavour name as the manufacturer lists it, puff rating, battery capacity and whether the device charges. Puff ratings are manufacturer figures measured under test conditions and are not a guarantee of use in your hands. We do not make, and you should not read into any page, claims about health effects of any kind. Where we cannot verify a flavour description we say so rather than supply one.

Prices and payment

All amounts are in Australian dollars. Payment is by bank transfer only — PayID or BSB and account number — to the account shown on your order page and in your order confirmation, with your order number as the reference. We never ask for payment to any other account; a message asking you to do so is not from us. Your order is accepted when your transfer is matched to it, and we email you at that point. Multi-device pricing is applied automatically to the quantities in your cart. Free shipping is worked out on your device total after that pack pricing and before any discount code comes off, so using a code never costs you free shipping. Discount codes cannot be combined where the checkout says so.

Unpaid and cancelled orders

An order with no payment received is held for 14 days and then cancelled automatically. If you paid and the order was cancelled anyway, upload your transfer receipt on your order page and the order is reopened. There is no cancel button: to cancel an unpaid order, simply don't pay, or email or WhatsApp us and we will cancel it for you. Once an order has been dispatched it can no longer be cancelled, and the returns policy applies instead.

Stock and errors

Stock shown on the site comes from our Melbourne stock counts and is refreshed regularly, but it can occasionally run behind. If an item cannot be supplied after payment we offer a wait, a swap or a refund of that line. If a product or price is listed in obvious error we may cancel the affected order and refund it in full; we will tell you why.

Reviews and flavour-name notes

Reviews on product pages are submitted only by customers who bought that device from VapeVic, through a link sent after dispatch, and are published after we confirm the purchase. The short 'What the name tells us' notes on flavour pages are written by us from the ingredients a flavour name declares, not from a taste test; they are not customer reviews and are not published for flavours whose names describe nothing.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from an order is limited to replacing the product or refunding what you paid for it. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
